Ph.D. Fellowship Program
Bristol-Myers Squibb's Research & Development (R&D) Doctoral Fellow Program is designed to provide a limited number of select scientists with the opportunity to earn a doctorate in a scientific discipline through a paid leave of absence which also includes a 75 percent tuition reimbursement.
The program enables career development for high-performing scientists by allowing them to increase their scientific knowledge and capability to contribute to Bristol-Myers Squibb by returning to work within our R&D division upon completion of their doctorate program. Eligible candidates must already have their bachelor's and/or master's degree prior to applying for a fellowship.
Program participants benefit from the additional training they receive through the program by continuing course work and conducting a research project in an intellectually stimulating environment under the guidance of accomplished research scholars at a university. In return, Bristol-Myers Squibb's R&D division benefits from the increased flow of scientists with sound scientific training in basic or applied research.
