The BioPharma Information Technology division provides enterprise services to all Bristol-Myers Squibb business units with a mission to develop and deliver innovative technology-enabled business capabilities to our employees and strategic partners. In support of its mission, this division is looking to attract, develop and retain talented graduates who are focused on business enablement through strategy setting, process improvement and innovation.
Information Management Development Program
This technology-focused leadership development program provides recent graduates with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while helping various business units meet their objectives. Associates are given opportunities to lead small- to mid-size projects over a two-year period while participating in three 8-month rotations within the Bristol-Myers Squibb BioPharma Information Technology division. Upon successful completion of the rotational program, qualified associates will be offered the opportunity to continue in a full-time role that aligns their area of expertise with business needs.
Requirements
Eligible candidates will have:
- a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree during the current school year, scheduled to graduate in winter or spring.
- minimum of five years of relevant information technology industry experience.
- an understanding of how to analyze, assess and provide innovative solutions to broad, complex business issues.
- the ability to draw conclusions from complex situations, then recommend and execute a course of action in both a timely and decisive manner.
- demonstrated leadership in student, community or professional organizations.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize and present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner to a small or large audience in multiple levels within the organization.
- the ability to work autonomously and in small and large teams.
- diverse thinking with innovative ideas and new approaches to maximize opportunities.
Rotations
You will be instrumental in the development of information management strategies and will be challenged to make recommendations with real business impact. Assignments may include: develop programs, manage projects, conduct business analysis, and complete emerging technology research.
Previous and current assignments span a broad range of disciplines, including health care technology strategy, collaboration strategy, vendor management, application rationalization, and manufacturing enterprise architecture strategy and systems.
