Medical Education Grants & Charitable Contributions Hypertension RFPs

Proposal Guidelines:

Programs that are CME accredited must be fully compliant with ACCME guidelines, and the proposal should briefly describe methods for resolution of conflict of interest.

The proposal must include appropriate training for faculty in how to execute the innovative CME methodology. Learning objectives must be framed as expected learning/practice-based outcomes.

We encourage proposals that include cost effective approaches to program evaluation and outcomes assessment.

The needs assessment is to be provided and validated by the vendor.

BMS and sanofi-aventis are requesting proposals for Independent Medical Education programs in the following disease areas:

  • Hypertension

Proposals should address the educational needs of Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Family Practice physicians, PA’s, and NP’s in the United States. If your proposal addresses educational needs of similar physicians or support staff outside of the U.S., please include suggestions for extending the program in your proposal.

Although proposals including any method of education will be considered, the following educational modalities are of particular interest:

  • Internet Based Education
  • Enduring Materials (e.g. CD-ROM, Journal Supplements)
  • Satellite Broadcasts
  • Teleconferences

All responses must be received no later than eight weeks prior to the start date of this proposed program. In addition, responses must be received by the first Wednesday of the month in order to be eligible for review during that month.
