Employees Wages and Benefits

Bristol-Myers Squibb is committed to paying a living wage to our employees worldwide (i.e., wages that at a minimum enable employees to meet the basic needs of themselves and their families and to provide for some discretionary income). Our health and welfare benefits to employees are among the best in the industry.

Additional details on pension, termination, and post-retirement benefit expenses can be found in the Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements section of our Annual Report.

Training

Bristol-Myers Squibb invests significant financial and human resources to train our employees. Training covers a broad range of topics, including regulatory compliance and company policies. We do not track the number of hours of training per year per employee. The number of hours of training varies within the company. For example, at one of our large bulk manufacturing facilities, the average number of hours of training annually ranged from 40 to 80 hours per employee.
